I am a dance anthropologist and interdisciplinary researcher exploring how humans create and transmit knowledge through movement. My doctoral research examines the diasporic transmission of Taijiquan through the embodied knowledge of immigrant women in Canada. I am particularly interested in how movement practices can inform the understanding of spatial intelligence. Through interdisciplinary research, I aim to connect anthropology, movement, and technology to develop new ways of perceiving intelligence through the body.
